The Little Theatre is an independent arts movie theater located in Rochester, NY. They needed a new Web site that served several purposes. These were: allow users to easily get information about the playing and upcoming films, advertise the diverse offerings of the theatre, inform the community about the Theatres’ mission and vision in means to drive memberships and be easily updatable by the theatre’s staff.

The main focus of the site was to give the visitors the information they needed and were looking for up front. Leveraging from that need, we drove traffic to the cafe and art gallery events that were taking place. On a secondary level, but without taking away any importance the “corporate” aspect of the site clearly communicated the mission and vision of the Theatre. Thirdly, an admin tool was developed to allow the theatre staff members to update the site. They were able to easily revise listings, show times, as well as upcoming events.

The Little Theatre site was granted the 2004 Best of the Web Award Winner from the Rochester Business Journal. It was also granted an Honorable Mention in the 2004 by the Rochester Addy Awards under the category of Interactive Media: WWW/Business to Consumer — HTML.
